COMPOSITION:
Each dose contains:
Active substance:
Inactivated PRRSV, strain VP-046 BIS ≥ 80 % ER30
Adjuvants:
Liquid paraffin 874.65 mg
Excipients:
Thimerosal 0.20 mg
INDICATIONS:
Breeding females: Active immunization to prevent reproductive disorders caused by the Porcine Reproductive and Respiratory Syndrome Virus (PRRS) in breeding sows.
DOSAGE AND VACCINATION PROGRAM:
Dosage: 2 ml / pig, regardless of their weight, age and sex.
The method of administration is by deep intramuscular injection into the neck muscles, behind the base of the ear.
Vaccination program:
- Gilts: Administer 2 doses from 6 weeks of age in an interval of about 3 weeks when entering the farm. Then, the same vaccination plan for sows will be followed.
- Sows: Administer 2 doses in an interval of 3 to 4 weeks.
- Revaccination: Administer one dose every 4 months.
